The Pashe Achi initiative reflects the Ashram’s deep commitment to standing beside those in need. Rooted in Gurudev’s vision of service, this project extends support to vulnerable sections of society through practical assistance and compassionate care.
Key Areas of Support
- Financial Aid for Higher Education: Financial assistance for poor and meritorious students to pursue higher studies, ensuring that talent is never lost due to poverty.
- Medical Help: Support for costly treatments of serious illnesses, giving hope and relief to families in distress.
- Marriage Assistance: Financial aid for arranging marriages of girls from economically weaker families, helping them begin their new lives with dignity.
- Elderly & Disabled Care: Assistance for aged and physically challenged individuals, including the provision of tricycles or wheelchairs to improve mobility and independence.
- Distribution of Clothes, Sweets and Fruits: On festive occasions such as Durga Puja and Jagaddhatri Puja, new clothes and sweets are distributed among deserving individuals from economically disadvantaged and destitute backgrounds, bringing joy and warmth to their celebrations. On auspicious occasions, such as the birth anniversary of Gurudev, fruits are distributed among patients in government hospitals as a gesture of compassion, care, and solidarity.
