Brief Introduction

Surrounded by trees and greenery, the Kenjera ashram is an abode of peace and tranquility. Headed by a saffron-clad monk, it draws devotees from the nearby areas for its regular spiritual programmes like puja, prayer, meditation, naamgaan, brata-palan, japa-yajna, dibyasanga and atmacharcha. Its chief attraction is a small and beautiful temple of Goddess Kali.

Major Annual Festivals / Celebrations

Kali Puja or Diwali is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm, drawing a large number of devotees to the ashram. The annual festival of the ashram is held in February. Other occasions like the birth anniversary of Gurudev, Akshay Tritiya, Guru Purnima, Janmastami, Mahalaya and Durga Puja are also celebrated here.
