Brief Introduction

Set in the lap of nature, with tea-covered hills rising behind it, the Bagapani ashram offers the perfect setting for a life of contemplation and sadhana. Headed by a saffron-clad nun, the ashram holds daily puja, prayer, meditation, naamgaan and atmacharcha (self-analytical discussion), with every activity kept to time by the tolling of bells. His Holiness, Swami Debananda Maharaj, visits from time to time to give darshan to the devotees.

Major Annual Festivals / Celebrations

Apart from the annual festival, all other auspicious occasions like the birth anniversary of Gurudev, Akshay Tritiya, Guru Purnima, Janmastami, and Jagaddhatri Puja are celebrated at this branch centre.

Seva Activities

The Mission organises Eye Screening camps and other Health Care camps throughout the year.
